Two Philanthropist brothers, Mr. Aw Boon Har and Mr. Aw Boon Par from Singapore contributed RM17,000 for the double storey building of Negeri Sembilan Chinese Maternity Hospital (NSCMH) in 1935. The bulding was known as Aw Boon Har & Aw Boon Par Block.

A three-storey Block B was completed in 1986 to accommodate more medical facilities, equipments and medical wards

Secured the consent of DYMM Tuanku Yang Dipertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus to be NSCMH Royal Patron.

Block Puan Sri Datin Alice Lee (Block B) was launched by DYMM Tuanku Muhriz ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir in 2011, Block B has four floors after building an additional floor.

The Hospital has successfully secured our land titles in the name of “NSCMH Medical Centre” when previously the titles were in the name of “Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus”. Dato Lee Tian Hock and team took over the management of NSCMA.

A “Welfare Fund” chaired by Dato’ Hon Choon Kim was set up in 2014 to subsidise medical fees to needy patients until now.

NSCMH Medical Centre was renamed as CMH Specialist Hospital in 2020. NSCMH Holdings Sdn.Bhd. and CMH Medicare Sdn. Bhd. (previously known as CMH Healthcare Sdn.Bhd.) were set up to prepare for the hospital to be listed on ACE market targeted within 5 years. An expansion plan in two phase to construct a new building, two multi-storey carparks, refurbishment of Block A and B are to be completed within ten years.

The operation of CMH Specialist Hospital has been transferred to and managed by CMH Medicare Sdn. Bhd., a wholly owned subsidiary of NSCMA in 2022. In year 2022, NSCMA celebrated its 90^th anniversary. We uphold our tagline “Healing, Caring and Serving”.

We were proudly honored with the prestigious BrandLaureate Iconic Brands Award in the Community Hospital Category as well as Nanyang Superb Brands Award in Year 2023.


Besides that, CMH Junior Club was launched in October 2023 as part of the Hospital’s ongoing effort to provide more value to the community.
